Off The Grid books 72 acts, and 63 of them play no other festival
Sixty-three of the 72 names at Sirius Ranch turn up at no other festival we hold. The nine other big bills within 150 miles share eight.
Southern California is the most crowded festival map we have. The same DJs work it all year, and by October most of them have already played a field near you.
Off The Grid Campout SoCal mostly books people who don't.
Four days at Sirius Ranch in Apple Valley, 22 to 25 October, 37 days out. There are 72 names on the bill. 63 of them play no other festival in the 146 upcoming events we hold. That is 87.5 per cent of the lineup you can see at the ranch or not at all this season.
Where that ranks
Twenty-eight festivals in our catalog have 60 or more names on the bill. Off The Grid is the most self-contained of them. It is a close call: Making Time in Philadelphia comes in at 129 of 148, which is 87.2 per cent, on a bill twice the size. Across every festival with 20 or more names, only two smaller ones do better: Summer's Last Dance with 28 of 30 and Fairyland with 23 of 23.
One-off bookings on their own are not rare. Of the 2,991 names across our whole upcoming catalog, 2,210 play exactly one festival. What is rare is filling 72 slots almost entirely that way.
Why the location matters
A high number like this is usually a warning sign before it is a compliment. When a festival is the only one we hold in its country, nobody on it can turn up anywhere else in our records, so the number measures our blind spot rather than the booking.
Apple Valley is the opposite case. Within 150 miles of the ranch we hold 19 other upcoming festivals, nine of them with bills of 20 or more. Those 19 put 582 different names on stage between them. Off The Grid shares eight.
Festivals within 150 miles of Sirius Ranch with 20 or more names
The nearest big neighbours make the point. Nocturnal Wonderland and Escape Psycho Circus are both at Glen Helen, 24 miles away. Nocturnal has 55 of its 99 names playing nowhere else. Escape has 29 of 92. Same region, same coverage, very different bills.
The nine who do travel
They mostly don't go far. Five of them, Tara Brooks, Auxana, Kaipora, MNTRA and Tchilt, also play Same Same But Different at Lake Perris, 44 miles away, four weeks earlier.
Justin Martin also plays Desert Hearts Microfest. Techno Tupac plays Desert Hearts and Nocturnal Wonderland. Rinzen has one other date, in Santa Monica. Only The Sponges leave the state, for Illinois and Virginia.
A note on the Martins, so nobody counts them twice. The bill lists Justin Martin, Christian Martin and the Martin Brothers as three separate entries. That is two people and three sets, and we count it the way the festival bills it.
What the number doesn't say
"Plays no other festival" means no other festival we hold. We count festivals, not club nights. Plenty of the 63 almost certainly play Los Angeles rooms most weekends, and none of that shows up here.
None of the ten names on our Most Booked board is on this bill. At 72 names it is the 24th-largest of the 71 festivals we hold with 20 or more. If you buy tickets for a headliner you already know, this is not built for you, and nothing in these numbers changes that.
If you're going, the practical version is this. Most of the people you'll hear at the ranch you won't get another festival chance at this year. Follow a few of them in the app before 22 October, so you know who you are walking towards.

Every count here comes from the lineups in our own catalog on 15 September 2026, matched on artist name without regard to capitalisation. All 72 names were also checked against their own artist pages. All 63 we counted as playing nowhere else show exactly one upcoming date, Off The Grid. All nine travellers show the number of dates we counted.
