At Escape, Jamie Jones and Excision split Friday's last hour, and Richie Hawtin starts six hours in the Cage on Saturday

118 sets, 7 stages, 4pm to 2am both nights. Three of the ten most-booked artists we track are on this bill, in three different rooms. Here is where you have to pick.

Escape Psycho Circus has put out its set times. Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino: 118 sets on seven stages, 4pm to 2am both nights.

All seven stages run the whole night, so at any hour you are choosing one room out of seven. Most of those choices are easy. Three are not, because the biggest names on the bill sit in different rooms.

Friday: Jamie Jones or Excision, or half of each

The last hour of Friday is a pile-up. Jamie Jones B2B Franky Rizardo plays the Cage from midnight to 2. Cloonee takes the Big Top from 12:45 to 2. Excision closes the Sewer District from 1 to 2, and Lady Faith B2B LNY TNZ closes Feeding Grounds in the same hour.

Jamie Jones has played 197 festivals in our records, the third most of any artist we track. Excision has played 168, the tenth most. Both have played Escape before.

The good news is that Jamie Jones and Franky Rizardo play for two hours. Take the first hour in the Cage, then walk to the Sewer District for Excision at 1. You see half of one and all of the other.

Friday at 10: the Cage or the Big Top

Earlier, the same split shows up. Joseph Capriati B2B SOSA has the Cage for two hours, 10 to midnight. Across the grounds, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike play the Big Top from 10:15 to 11:30, and Steve Aoki follows until 12:40. If you want the Cage at midnight for Jamie Jones, it is easiest to already be there.

Saturday: stand in the Cage from 8 and don't move

Saturday's Cage is four sets back to back with no gaps. Richie Hawtin plays 8 to 9:30, Nina Kraviz 9:30 to 11, Indira Paganotto 11 to 12:30, and 999999999 12:30 to 2. That is six hours in one room.

Richie Hawtin has played 207 festivals in our records, more than any other artist we track. This is his sixth Escape in them, after five between 2012 and 2016.

Here is what the Cage costs you. In the Big Top, Alok plays 9 to 10:10, Galantis 10:15 to 11:25, and Zedd closes from 12:45. In the same stretch you also miss Avalon Emerson in the Warehouse at 9:10, AC Slater on Feeding Grounds at 9:30 and Adventure Club in the Sewer District at 9:40.

One thing worth a detour: the Sewer District gives half an hour each to Too $hort, at 11:45, and Ja Rule, at 12:15. Then Dabin closes it from 12:50.

The clocks go back at the end of Saturday

Saturday night is the night the clocks fall back an hour, at 2am. Escape's own post says its times don't move for it, so the poster runs on the old clock. When Zedd and the Cage finish at 2 on the poster, your phone will read 1. Our event page uses the real clock too, so Saturday's last sets show there as ending at 1. It is the same moment.

Miss someone in the Cage? Try the other night

Factory 93 hosts the Cage both nights, and it runs its own Factory 93 Halloween at the Gold Bar Hangar on the same two nights, with the names swapped. Richie Hawtin, Indira Paganotto and 999999999 play it on Friday. SOSA, Franky Rizardo and Jamie Jones play it on Saturday. So does Silvie Loto, who plays Escape's Cage on Friday at 5:30.

The full grid is on the Escape Psycho Circus event page. Save your sets there, and make the Friday 1am call before you go.
