Nine of the 30 names at Give Thanks in San Jose put records out on Disciple
Nine of the 30 names at Give Thanks in San Jose. Eight festivals on Halloween weekend. 35 roster bookings in the next six weeks.
Thanksgiving week, November 25 to 28, Give Thanks Festival at the San Jose Convention Center. We hold 30 names for the bill, and nine of them put records out on Disciple Recordings.
That's SLANDER, Crankdat, BARELY ALIVE, Cyclops, Kai Wachi, Kompany, TYNAN, Automhate and Beastboi. Close to a third of the lineup, from one label's catalog.
You don't have to wait a month, either. Before San Jose, the roster is on eight festivals on Friday, October 30.

Who's on it
Roster here means whose records come out on the label, by release credits. Not who's signed, not who's managed. The app counts 34 names, and 25 of them have a festival ahead.
The biggest credit counts are BARELY ALIVE with 70 releases there, Virtual Riot with 43, Modestep with 27 and Ray Volpe with 23. Then Dirtyphonics and INFEKT, 20 each.
Four of the roster are on our season board. Subtronics is first, with 12 bills this season, though only three credits on the label, the latest from 2020. Crankdat is sixth with nine bills and 11 credits. Kompany is 45th and SLANDER 63rd.
Look at where they're playing and you already know the sound: BOO, HEX, Bassrush, a Thanksgiving bill built on bass. Press play below.
Three to hear
recent ones on Disciple Recordings
The first is INFEKT's remix of SampliFire's Creep Killa, out since June 2024. The second is the demo for Heavy Bass Design Vol. 3, a Disciple sample pack, credited to Virtual Riot and the label. The third is a Cyclops solo record, from 2023. SampliFire, Virtual Riot and Cyclops are all on the bills below.
