CRSSD Fall's main stage stops after every set, and that is when you see the rest

53 sets, three stages, two days. The main stage stops for up to half an hour after every set. Use those breaks, because the last hour each night makes you pick.

CRSSD Fall has put out its set times for Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September at Waterfront Park in San Diego. It is 53 sets on three stages: noon to 11pm on Saturday, noon to 10pm on Sunday.

The three stages don't run the same way, and that shapes the whole weekend.

The main stage takes breaks. The other two don't.

Ocean View stops after every set, for 15 or 30 minutes. That is seven breaks a day, three hours of quiet each day, in pieces of 15 and 30 minutes. City Steps and The Palms never stop. On both days, every set on those two stages starts the minute the one before it ends.

The Ocean View sets are short in the afternoon, mostly 45 minutes. Most of them sit entirely inside a longer set on another stage: five of the eight on Saturday and six of the eight on Sunday. So you are rarely choosing between whole sets. Watch the Ocean View set, then use its break to catch the rest of whatever is playing on the other two.

On Saturday, Mind Enterprises finishes on Ocean View at 4:30. MPH starts on City Steps at the same minute, and AYYBO isn't on Ocean View until 5. That half hour is free.

Saturday: three calls after 5pm

5:45. Ben UFO plays City Steps 5:45 to 7. Rossi. b2b Carlita plays The Palms 6 to 7:30, and Notion is on Ocean View 6:30 to 7:30. Stay for all of Ben UFO and you still get the last half hour of one of the other two.

8pm. horsegiirL plays a live set on Ocean View, 8 to 9:15. Marlon Hoffstadt has City Steps until 8:30, then I Hate Models until 9:45. The break before horsegiirL, 7:30 to 8, is your half hour of Marlon Hoffstadt.

9:45. This is the one the breaks can't fix. Mochakk on Ocean View and VTSS on City Steps both start at 9:45 and both stop at 11. Sonny Fodera closes The Palms, 10 to 11. All three stages end at 11. CRSSD is the only upcoming show we have for Sonny Fodera anywhere.

Sunday: one clash at 6:30, one at the end

6:30. Helena Hauff on City Steps and Groove Armada (a DJ set) on The Palms start at the same minute. Groove Armada is done at 7:30, Helena Hauff at 7:45. Big Wild is on Ocean View 7 to 8, so leaving either one at 7 gets you all of Big Wild.

8pm. Big Wild's break, 8 to 8:30, lands in the last hour of Boys Noize on City Steps and Prospa on The Palms.

8:30. Chris Lake b2b Disclosure closes Ocean View, 8:30 to 10. KETTAMA starts on The Palms at 8:45, and 999999999 on City Steps at 9. All three end at 10, with no break in between. KETTAMA has 12 upcoming shows on our calendar, more than anyone else on this bill, so this is not your only chance.

Fourteen of them fly to San Francisco

Portola runs the same two days in San Francisco. Fourteen artists play both, and every one of them plays one city on Saturday and the other on Sunday. horsegiirL plays Ocean View on Saturday night and Portola's Crane Stage on Sunday night. KETTAMA goes the other way: Portola on Saturday, The Palms here on Sunday.

The full grid is on the CRSSD Fall event page. Save the sets you want before you go, and decide Saturday at 9:45 ahead of time. CRSSD Fall is not in our ticket feed, so there is no ticket link on this one.
