Beyond Existence booked 115 acts and 88 of them play nowhere else
Three days of bass an hour east of Austin. 88 of the 115 acts on the bill are at no other festival we track, the most of any 100-name bill.
Big lineups usually mean the touring circuit. Beyond Existence is the exception.
Beyond Existence runs 6 to 8 November at Valkyrie Ranch in Paige, Texas, 45 days out. It has 115 names on the bill. 88 of them play no other festival we track this season. That's 76.5% of the lineup, and no bill of its size or bigger beats it.
Where that ranks
We hold 79 upcoming festivals with 20 or more names. Beyond Existence is 8th of the 79 on the share of its lineup you can only see there. The seven above it all have smaller bills, between 23 and 78 names.
Only ten festivals in the catalog book 100 acts or more. Among those ten, Beyond Existence is first by ten points. And the one at the bottom is running the same three days.
The ten 100+ name bills, and how many play nowhere else
EDC Orlando is also 6 to 8 November. It also has 115 names. Only 18 of them are unique to it. Same weekend, same size of bill, opposite ends of the table. The two share three acts: Taiki Nulight, PHRVA and Chef Boyarbeatz.
Nobody else in Texas has these names
We hold six other Texas festivals. Beyond Existence shares names with exactly one of them.
| Festival | City | Acts on the bill | Play nowhere else | Shared with Beyond Existence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Astronox | Paige | 47 | 29 | 4 |
| Seismic Dance Event | Austin | 48 | 6 | 0 |
| Freaky Deaky | Austin | 39 | 6 | 0 |
| Lights All Night | Dallas | 40 | 6 | 0 |
| Breakaway Houston | Houston | 27 | 8 | 0 |
The two Austin bills sit 32 and 35 miles from the ranch, straight-line. Seismic Dance Event and Freaky Deaky are among the least unique bills in the whole catalog. Six acts each are theirs alone. Neither shares a single name with Beyond Existence. Nor do Lights All Night, Breakaway Houston or either weekend of Austin City Limits.
The one overlap is next door. Astronox is also in Paige, three weeks earlier, and has a similar habit: 29 of its 47 acts are unique to it. It shares four with Beyond Existence: Buggy, OldGold, Packet Loss and Wu-Tsu.
The travelling names
27 acts on the bill do turn up elsewhere. Most of them not often. Sixteen play one other festival we hold. The average act on the bill plays 1.49 of our festivals, counting this one, which is 11th lowest of the 79.
The busiest are near the top of the bill. Taiki Nulight is on ten of our festivals, the most of anyone here. Casey Club has eight, The Widdler five, Caspa four and Mersiv three.
What the number is and isn't
None of the ten acts on our Most Booked board are on this bill. That isn't a knock. It is the other side of the same number.
The 88 are mostly the undercard, and a deep one. A regional DJ who plays club nights every weekend can still show up here as a one-off, because we count festivals, not club shows. So this doesn't mean you'll never hear these DJs again. It means Beyond Existence is the only festival booking them this season.
That is also normal for small names across the catalog. About three in four of the 3,095 names we hold are on exactly one bill. What's unusual is a 115-name festival built almost entirely from them.
If you're going, the practical version is simple. The top of the bill is easy to catch elsewhere. The other 88 aren't. Pick a few names you don't know, like VOARTYX, Vinja, Schmux or Trip B, and follow them in the app. Each shows one upcoming show, and it's this one.

Counts are from the Electric State festival catalog on 22 September 2026: 79 upcoming festivals with 20 or more named acts, placeholders like "Lineup TBA" removed. "Play nowhere else" means on no other festival we hold. Miles are straight-line from stored venue coordinates.
